You can achieve sustainability compliance and be more ethically and environmentally aware by using the tools in Dynamics 365 Business Central to record and report on your carbon emissions, forward looking and retrospectively. The features available supports the basic process of collecting emission data via sustainability journals and this data can come from purchase invoices or orders, use built-in methods for calculating emissions, or input data manually. Also, with Copilot you can report on your emissions, for instance by asking it to show you Co2 emissions by scope 2, and a report will be generated. Other standard features in Business Central include internal carbon fee calculation, and the ability to purchase carbon credits, so you can actively work to reduce your emissions.
