The Sixth Sense 'biggest shock in film'
Mon Jul 26 2010 13:42The Sixth Sense has topped a poll of movies featuring the biggest shocks.
The biggest shock ever created by those using film software came in The Sixth Sense, a recent poll has suggested.Research conducted by E1 Entertainment to mark the release of Robert Pattinson film Remember Me on DVD and Blu-Ray found the Bruce Willis movie came out on top, ahead of features including Psycho.
The Usual Suspects - starring Kevin Spacey - came in third, while The Empire Strikes Back was placed fourth.
Martin Gough, senior product manager at E1 Entertainment said: "The Sixth Sense will always be remembered for its 'I see dead people' line, which actually should have given the game away for Willis a lot sooner than it did."
He added it is clear people love a shock and Remember Me's is both sudden and poignant.
Recent findings from the UK Film Council revealed that film exports in Britain were 92 per cent higher in 2008 than in 2001, totalling £1.3 billion.
