Production costing software may be in use for a new movie about the life of Ozzy Osbourne.

Production costing software could soon be in use for a film about the life of Ozzy Osbourne, if recent suggestions are anything to go by.

The rocker's daughter Kelly has denied reports that Colin Farrell is set to play her father in an upcoming movie about the life of the former Black Sabbath frontman, stating he is too old for the part.

Writing in her column for Closer she said: "We need someone who's about 18 and my mum and the film makers want to get an unknown actor. I'll definitely audition to play my mum, though."

She added that although she is unsure if she would be given the part, her mum has said she should go for it as they are "so alike".

Ozzy - who was born in Aston, Birmingham - has had a career spanning five decades and recently released a new studio album entitled Scream.
