Production costing software may have played a part in the creation of the movie Inception.

Production costing software may have aided Dark Knight director Christopher Nolan in the development of his latest film Inception.

The film stars Leonardo DiCaprio who admitted it was an easy decision to make when asked if he wanted to be involved.

He joked that in response to the director he said: "Okay where do I sign?"

Other cast members stated they were equally excited at the prospect of teaming up with Nolan.

British star Michael Caine said the director explained to him there was no leading role for him in the movie but admitted that it did not prove a problem as Caine told him: "For you, I'll do it."

It has recently been revealed that film software is set to be used by British director Joe Wright - best known for his work on Pride and Prejudice and the Oscar-winning Atonement - in the creation of a live action film version of the The Little Mermaid.
