New Twilight film made with bigger budget
Tue Jun 29 2010 08:26Budgeting software may have played a part in the creation of the new Twilight film.
Budgeting software may have had an important role to play in the creation of the third installment of the Twilight film series.Things have changed since the original movie, which had a production budget of $37 million (£24.6 million) and featured a cast of unknown actors who could wander around the Portland, Oregon set with little fear of being recognised, suggests the Philadelphia Daily News.
Ashley Greene, who plays vampire Alice Cullen in all three films, said: "There were all these black tarps up and we had to walk with umbrellas in front of us and big jackets so no one would see our wardrobe."
Twilight Eclipse worked with a larger budget and a cast who are now famous around the world.
Fans of the action sequences in the previous films could enjoy the new movie, as director David Slade has suggested it is the most "mature" film of the series.
Budgeting software may also have been key for the latest Harry Potter film, which has now released its first trailer.
