Production costing software may benefit TV and film companies
Mon Jun 14 2010 13:50TV and film companies could benefit from production costing software.
Production costing software may prove beneficial to TV and film companies that are unhappy with their bank.A latest monthly report from the Federation of Small Businesses has revealed that 25 per cent of firms surveyed are dissatisfied with the service offered by their high street bank.
Research shows that 26 per cent of firms believe a good working relationship with their bank manager is one of the most important factors in their choice of high street bank, yet close to half - 46 per cent - of respondents' bank managers are not based locally.
John Walker, national chairman for the Federation of Small Businesses, said: "The future health of the economy depends on restoring trust between small firms and the banking system, as turning ideas and innovation into business growth requires a reliable financial partner."
He added that as the country moves into recovery it is vital that banks begin to engage with their customers again and provide a link to their bank manager.
Using production costing software might ensure money spent in this area is used effectively and may have proved vital for many of the productions entered into the Edinburgh Film Festival, which is held on June 16th-27th.
