Thu Mar 4 2010 08:34Liberty University has decided to introduce new warehouse management software within its campuses.
Liberty University is "extremely excited" about using new warehouse management software to try to manage the dispensing and receiving of its assets and goods.Scott Small, director of Supply Chain Management at Liberty, said the new device should be revolutionary for the staff and students of the university.
It has introduced the software in order to focus on its supply chain infrastructure and manage the supplies across the university campuses. And the new system could therefore make it easier for information technology and operation management.
John Gauger, project manager at the university, noted it wanted a specific system that easily interfaces with its "Banner Enterprise software and at a price point that we, as a non-profit organisation, could afford".
Earlier this month, MSDynamics World reported Asian Paints the biggest paint organisation in India chose to implement Microsoft Dynamics NAV software due to its cost-effectiveness and its flexibility.
