Kuwaiti ERP spending predicted to rise
Mon Feb 15 2010 17:06Spending on enterprise resource planning software in Kuwait is set to rise as businesses look to improve efficiencies and cut costs, it has been reported.
Kuwaiti businesses are increasingly looking towards the cost-saving benefits that are on hand with enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions, it has been reported.Figures released by Sage Software note that planned expenditure on ERP software in the region will grow 25 per cent over the course of this year.
"These new solutions will provide tremendous help to organisations who are seeking to strategically position themselves and gain the lead in the impending upturn," Reggie Fernandes, sales manager for Sage Software in the Gulf region, states.
Speaking at a roadshow held at the JW Marriot hotel, he noted that the use of ERP can have a significant impact on a business' profitability and efficiency, those considering the use of accounting software could be interested to hear.
As part of its efforts in implementing a new ERP solution, it was recently revealed that Severn Trent Water is looking to enhance its document and data archiving system, with the improved infrastructure serving more than 5,000 users across the company.
