A new contract has been signed by Severn Trent Water as part of the second phase of its new ERP project that will enhance document and data archiving.

Archiving data is the focus of a new contract signed by Severn Trent Water as part of its implementation of a new enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.

The infrastructure will serve over 5,000 users across the organisation and the decision to select a new document and data archiving solution is intended to further enhance the network.

By rolling out SAP applications and boosting its business reporting processes, the water and sewerage company is looking to reduce costs and further improve its customer service.

Supplying over eight million businesses and households in mid-Wales and the Midlands, Severn Trent completed the first phase of its ERP software programme in December and has started on the second phase, which is designed to enhance its field workforce service and asset management operations.

ERP solutions can provide a range of benefits to companies, benefiting both internal and external collaboration and communication in order to draw together separate strands of a business, improving order processing and streamlining stock management.ADNFCR-3018-ID-19613964-ADNFCR
