Microsoft Dynamics NAV 'improvements pay off for Meiko'

Using Microsoft Dynamics NAV has helped one firm get to grips with its ordering and invoice processes, all thanks to Creative Computing Solutions.

The benefits that are on hand when combining Microsoft Dynamics NAV with existing service operation software has been pointed towards by one firm.

Peter Barry, financial director of Meiko - a wholly-owned subsidiary of Meiko Maschinenbau GmbH & Co - reveals that upon joining the company several years ago the company's IT system was not working as effectively as possible and "had not been fully or satisfactorily implemented".

However, upon calling in the services of Creative Computing Solutions, it was revealed that firm was able to integrate Microsoft Dynamics NAV - which at the time was known as Navision - with the existing Service Director system already in place.

In doing so, all invoicing for the company - which produces washing devices - became an automated process, with Microsoft Dynamics NAV now being used to manage stock control, sales orders and financial records, as well as in other areas.

"We've taken the essential leap from an unsupportive and barely reactive contractor to one that understands and takes an interest in our needs," Mr Barry adds.

But his firm is not the only one to have benefitted from Creative Computing Solutions' services, with Hat Trick Productions and Target Entertainment also among those to have improved their working practices.
