Microsoft Dynamics revenue rising
Mon Feb 1 2010 15:04Microsoft Dynamics NAV and other forms of Microsoft Dynamics software could be growing, new report indicates.
Use of Microsoft Dynamics software appears to be growing, new figures reveal. As the firm releases its quarterly financial report, it was shown that the three-month period ending December 31st saw revenue of such solutions increase one per cent compared to the same stretch of time in 2008.
Such a rise represents a turnaround from the six per cent decline noted in the fourth-quarter of last year.
And although business revenue decreased by $392 million (£247 million) in the Microsoft Business Division - which incorporates the Microsoft Office and Microsoft Dynamics products - for the second-half of 2009, this decline was partially offset by an increase in multi-year volume licensing agreement revenue.
"The growth in multi-year volume licensing agreement revenue primarily reflects recognition of deferred revenue from previously-signed agreements," the firm claims.
Meanwhile, Vjeskoslav Babic noted in a recent MSDynamicsWorld.com article that the introduction of Sure Step 2010 is helping to make Microsoft Dynamics NAV more effective for businesses to use.
